Got this complimentary sample along with one of my purchases once again. How many sub-lines does the Missha Time Revolution line have? There's the Time Revolution Wrinkle Care Melting Rich Mask Cream and there's the very popular Estee Lauder copycat Time Revolution Night Repair Science Activator Ampoule. There's probably more that I just haven't had time to look into...
Hoping to help others decide what works best for them by sharing my views on skincare and haircare products.

Got this complimentary sample along with one of my purchases once again. How many sub-lines does the Missha Time Revolution line have? Review: Innisfree Green Tea Seed Cream
My second Innisfree sample (my first one was Innisfree Minimum Moist Cream). I was quite happy I got this sample because I rarely get innisfree samples. I had no idea what this line was, but I know Innisfree is known for its natural ingredients. From my last experience with the Innisfree Minimum Moist Cream (think massive oil production), I decided to play on the safe side this time and use it at night.

Review: Innisfree Minimum Moist Cream for sensitive skin
I was quite happy I got this sample because I rarely get innisfree samples. I had no idea what this line was, but I know innisfree is known for its natural ingredients. I googled the night before just to briefly look at the product info and it said, "for sensitive skin [...] highly moist, low stimulation, olive oil, squalane, skin recovery, no preservative, airless container."
Since the name of it is "minimum moist," I thought it meant this is a cream that will give you the minimum moisture that you need so it won't be too rich. So I used it as my day cream this morning. I didn't realize I totally misinterpreted the name until I googled again and this time went to the third page of my search results because none of the results were giving me an adequate description that I can write on my blog!
Review: Lioele V-line Waterdrop Sleeping Pack
When I first got this complimentary sample along with one of my internet purchases I thought, oh man what is this random unknown product sample. But then I googled it and realized this is actually Lioele's best selling product! I also automatically assumed Lioele was some unknown brand since I didn't know of any celebrity endorsers that they have and I've only seen their BB creams. Well, since this product, my impression of Lioele has definitely changed.

Review: IOPE V-Fit Lift Eye Cream (anti-wrinkle)
Finally done finals! I can finally get back to my normal life. I've been using this eye cream from the end of October (basically right after I wrote the review for Skinfood Black Raspberry Eye Cream) and have been wanting to do a review on it. This is my second product from IOPE, the first one being their infamous product IOPE Retinol Tx Intensive Wrinkle Care..which didn't do much for the fine lines on my forehead.

Review: Missha Time Revolution Wrinkle Care Melting Rich Mask Cream
Missha has too many products with similar LONG names for me to keep up with. I wasn't aware about this product until I got the complimentary sample. But I have some fine lines on my forehead right now and have been trying out anti-wrinkle creams so I'm happy to stumble upon this sample.

Review: Etude House Silk Scarf Shampoo and Conditioner
I've been wanting to try the Etude House Silk Scarf shampoo and conditioner ever since I bought and tried the Etude House Silk Scarf Moist Hair Mist and Etude House Silk Scarf Repair Hair Essence with pretty good results. A new seller popped up on eBay selling these so I decided to buy them. Lucky me because the seller increased them in price soon after!
Review: Skinfood Citron Scalp Care Shampoo
Yes, after I try all the Skinfood hair essence/oil products, naturally I should move on to trying their shampoo! There were some other products like a shampoo that helps prevent hair loss and thinning hair, but my hair right now is thick as ever in terms of amount and each strand. So I decided to try this shampoo after reading some good reviews.

Review: Etude House Lip and Eye Remover (makeup remover)
Is it just me, or does this look like Lancome's Bi-Facil makeup remover? They even share the same blue/clear colors! I've used Lancome's Bi-Facil before with good results, but it was a bit expensive at $27 for 125ml. After that, I decided to try Skinfood Milk Shake Point Make-up Remover, a cheaper alternative. That one was as effective at removing my eye makeup as Lancome, except it gave me blurry vision (since it's not clear, so whatever goes in is like milk going into your eyes). So I decided to try this one out.
Review: IOPE Retinol TX Intensive Wrinkle Care
I am starting to see some fine lines on my forehead and have been trying to find something that will help. I read hope-inablog blog's post about IOPE Retinol Tx and how it sold like crazy when it was first released in 1997 and is still a best-seller today.

Review: Missha All Around Safe-Block Mild Essence Sun Milk SPF45 PA+++ (sunscreen)
School has been getting busier since finals are coming up and since I've decided to enroll myself in all sorts of extra-curriculars because I just love to torture myself ha ha... Anyways, this is a sample I got from one of my internet purchases. [Update Jult 7 2013: Also bought the full version]. The only other UV/sunscreen "Milk" that I've tried is the Hadalabo Shirojyun Arbutin Whitening UV Milk SPF20 which didn't really live up to its "milk" name because it was pretty greasy and made my face pretty oily after several hours! Let's see how this fares
Review: Missha Time Revolution Night Repair Science Activator Ampoule
What's with Missha and their crazy long names! My last Missha review was for their Near Skin Firming Peptide Intensive Lifting Cream which also has a long product name but at least it has "firming" and "lifting" so I know what the product does. This product's name doesn't even tell me what it does! What's night repair? Science activator? Time Revolution?

Review: The Saem Chaga Fermentation Liposome Good Sleep Cream
I got these samples when I bought The Saem's Cell ReNew Anti-Wrinkle E.G.F Snail Complex Syn-Ake Mask and The Saem Chaga White Liposome Biocellulose Whitening Mask while I was vacationing in Korea. I've been using Missha Super Aqua Cell Renew Sleeping Mask at night for the past few months with great effects but I went on vacation this weekend and I thought, what a better time to bring a sample sleeping mask I've been meaning to try and save luggage space at the same time!

Review: Missha Near Skin Firming Peptide Intensive Lifting Cream
I actually didn't know about this product until I got this as a complimentary sample. But it basically hits what I need now: firming and anti-wrinkle serum. So I was pretty happy to try this out because I've been using Skinfood Gold Caviar Collagen Serum which hasn't done much for the fine lines on my forehead. Same with the cream version.

Review: TonyMoly Intense Care Dual Effect Sleeping Pack
Review: Skinfood Deep Sea Water Multi Toner (brightening)
Last post tonight. I got this as a complimentary sample along with my purchases. I'm currently using Etude House Wonder Pore Freshener which has done so much for my skin (you can read the details of what I mean by clicking on my review here). I've also tried Skinfood Fresh Apple Sparkling Toner, which was a bit too heavy on the alcohol because I felt like it was stripping moisture off my face.
Review: HadaLabo TamagoHada Daily Foam Wash (cleanser)
I got this awhile ago when my face was exploding in acne. This one has two versions, a cleansing cream and a cleansing foam. I chose the cleansing foam mainly because I had oily/combination skin so I thought I would buy a foaming cleanser rather than a cream cleanser.
Review: Etude House Baking Powder Cleansing Foam Moist
I got this as a complimentary sample on one of my bigger Skinfood purchases. I've been on a staple routine of using Skinfood Egg White Pore Foam in the morning and then Skinfood Black Sugar Scrub Foam at night. I've been satisfied with those two products and have already ordered another one of both. But it never hurts to try new products and I always like to believe that there's something better out there.

Review: Black Raspberry Eye Cream (wrinkle care)
Another post on my never ending quest to find a suitable eye cream. Previously, the top concern for my eyes were my under eye circles, which Skinfood Salmon Brightening Eye Cream has helped a lot and is continuing to help. However, I'm going to be 25 years old next year and I can already see fine lines under my eyes. So I thought it was time to put an anti-wrinkle eye cream into my regimen. I've previously tried Skinfood Royal Honey Eye Cream, which did nothing for me, Skinfood Gold Caviar Double Collagen Eye Serum, which was so-so for the fine lines under my eyes but pretty good for the firming of my under eye area, and Skinfood Platinum Grape Cell Eye Cream, which was so-so for the fine lines also but didn't firm my under eye area.
Review: Etude House Goodbye Pore Ever Pore Primer Essence
The reason why I use primers even though I don't wear foundation is because my face becomes an oil mine throughout the day. And since I leave home at 7am and don't get back until 5pm, there's lots of oil (especially when I'm busy and forget to use my oil wipes), which clogs up my pores and I've seen those little red bumps from where my large pores are grow to becoming new red and inflamed pimples.. I've tried to use pore refining serums before like the Skinfood Fresh Apple Sparkling Pore Serum, but it would end up caking with my day cream because the consistency of these pore serums are so matte and powdery. I've tried the Skinfood Fresh Apple Smooth Pore Cream which also acts as a primer. It helped control my oil by halving its production but I wanted to see if other products could do more. After reading some reviews, I decided on trying this one.

Review: Etude House Silk Scarf Moist Hair Mist
My hair is a dry frizzball. It's also thick in that I have a lot of hair making my hair as a whole thick, and also every strand is thick. Very beneficial in the long-run when I get old and I start losing hair, but meanwhile I have to find something to tame it down! I've tried almost, if not all, of Skinfood's hair products. I've tried Skinfood Avocado Leave-In Fluid which wasn't too helpful, Skinfood Argan Oil Silk Hair Essence which was helpful but not enough and made my hair really thick =\, and Skinfood Extra Virgin Olive Essence which does wonders for my hair but I need 8-9 pumps every time so I'll use up one bottle in 1.5 months. I bought this mist with the Etude House Silk Scarf Repair Hair Essence, which was similar to the Skinfood Extra Virgin Olive Essence but not as good.
Review: Skinfood Gold Caviar Collagen Cream
I actually got these samples by mistake. I ordered Skinfood Gold Caviar Eye Cream and ended up getting the collagen cream. The eBay seller was kind enough to say they will refund my item as well as the shipping fee it costs for me to send it back...but I was too lazy. So I just decided to keep it since I wanted to try it out anyways.
I'm going to be 25 soon and I already see fine lines on my forehead so I thought it's time to do implement some anti-aging skincare regimen..especially since it takes time to find the right product for me.

Review: Etude House Collagen Moistfull Enriched Cream
I've always wanted to try the Etude House collagen line and luckily this was a complimentary sample that came along with the Etude House Drawing Eye Brow Pencil that I bought on eBay. I'm going to be 25 soon so I want to incorporate an anti-aging/anti-wrinkle prevention product into my skincare regimen.
Review: Etude House Drawing Eye Brow Pencil #1 Black Brown
One of my very few makeup posts. I used to use Clarins retractable eye brow liner in lightest brown. I only like retractable ones because I'm too lazy to sharpen. I'm almost out and I decided to browse the Clarins site only to find that the retractable eye brow liner isn't available anymore. Plus, I wanted to give Korea brands a try, since they were so much cheaper.

[Edit Oct 22 2012]: I have since written a review for Skinfood Black Raspberry Eye Cream that you can check out as well.
Review: Skinfood Gold Caviar Collagen Serum
I bought this after trying out a sample. Apparently you need to start including anti-wrinkle products in your skincare regimen when you're 25 because prevention is easier than cure. Well I'm getting there soon so I thought I'd start now. However, I do have combination skin so I used a sample first just to make sure I wasn't allergic or broke out the next morning.

Review: Skinfood Quinoa Rich Body Milk
Class has been so tiring...8am classes really do take a toll on me..especially when I'm not a morning person. But it's finally Friday and it's the LONG weekend! YAY!
Anyway, back on topic. I got this sample from one of my Skinfood purchases back in Korea. I actually ended up using this while I was in Korea and totally forgot about it until I was looking back at my photos.

Review: Skinfood Platinum Grape Cell White Sun Essence SPF50 Pa+++ (sunscreen)
Third product review from the Platinum Grape Cell line. I've also reviewed Skinfood Platinum Grape Cell Essence and Skinfood Platinum Grape Cell Cream. The essence gave me quite impressive results considering it was only a one-time use sample so I was looking forward to trying this one.

Review: TonyMoly Floria Whitening Capsule Essence
I also got this as a sample when I bought TonyMoly Snail Eye Masks in Korea. I've tried the TonyMoly Floria Whitening Sheet Mask from the same line, which actually had impressive overnight results. It's the weekend so I had the opportunity to try this essence as well.

Review: Kose Softymo Nose Clean Pack (charcoal nose strips)
I used to use Biore nose strips before but gave up because they cost quite a bit and did practically nothing to my blackheads, and I had a lot back then--both in number and size. When I went to Japan I saw these nose strips by Kose that were incorporated with black charcoal. I've been using Origins Active Charcoal Mask and charcoal has been very effective in sucking out the impurities and dirt from my pores. From what I remember, this was pretty cheap too compared to what I paid for Biore nose strips.
Review: Etude House I Need You Lemon Extract Sheet Mask
When I was in Korea, Etude House were selling a whole bunch of masks for "10+10." That is, buy one set of 10 sheet masks, get another set free. Each set was $10, so basically each mask was 50 cents. Who can resist?
When I use a sheet mask I look for several things. First is, of course, effectiveness. Second is whether or not it can stick on my face and feel comfortable (or even better, I don't feel it being on my face after awhile). This is because I don't have the patience nor the time to sit there for 25-30 minutes. I need to be doing something while I put on this mask and if I need to fix it every minute because it's falling off my face then that's an instant fail. Third is whether or not it absorbs. If I don't feel a difference in the wetness of the sheet mask after 30 minutes.. then there is a problem with the compatibility of the mask with my face.
Review: Sulwhasoo Skin Clarifying Mask
Its name isn't very indicative but this is actually a peeling mask. I bought this while I was in Korea. For those who are unfamiliar with Sulwhasoo, it is one of the two famous Korean brands that is separate from Skinfood, Missha, etc. that have only recently gained international exposure due to the popularity of BB cream. Their products are mostly for mature skin, but there are two products that are used with great praise for younger, 20-30's skin. One of them is this. The other is the Sulwhasoo First Care Serum.
My face has been looking a bit dark and uneven despite using Missha Super Aqua Detox Peeling Gel every two days and I had a new pimple pop up. Not sure what's wrong with my face this week.. maybe the stress is coming along. So I decided to try something new for my face and opened this mask.

Review: Nature Republic Snail Therapy Mask Sheet
When I was in Korea, cosmetics stores like to lure people in with samples. Nature Republic lured me in with this snail mask. I actually forgot what I ended up buying once I went inside the store...maybe their eye masks? Well whatever it is I'm sure it's in my room so I'll find out eventually

Review: The Face Shop Raspberry Lines & Lift Collagen Eye Patch
First eye mask review! The criteria I have for eye masks is similar to sheet masks. First is, of course, effectiveness. Second is whether or not it can stick on my under eye and feel comfortable (or even better, I don't feel it being on my under eye after awhile). This is because I don't have the patience nor the time to sit there for 30-40 minutes. I need to be doing something while I put on this mask and if I need to fix it every minute because it's falling off my under eye then that's an instant fail. Third is whether or not it absorbs. If I don't feel a difference in the wetness of the sheet mask after 30 minutes.. then there is a problem with the compatibility of the mask with my under eye.
When I went inside The Face Shop store in Korea, this eye mask caught my eye. Not because it had great design, but because the eye mask was packed in packages of literally 300 eye masks. It was like a huge cube. The salesperson said this was a very effective eye mask and customers come in and buy them in hoards of...300. Since the fine lines under my eyes were starting to bother me, I decided to buy a package myself. I had to keep asking and asking until I got the smallest package that the salesperson was willing to give me, which turned out to be 20 pairs of eye masks.
Review: Skinfood Platinum Grape Cell Cream
I tried this yesterday and I tried the Skinfood Platinum Grape Cell Essence two nights ago. Anti-aging is one of my concerns as I'm in my mid-20's and I need to start adding it into my skincare regimen. I'm already starting to see fine lines on my forehead. Whitening has always been a concern for my skin because I get tanned very easily and my skin color is always very dull and "dark," not the tanned healthy dark but the stressed out lack of sleep malnutrition kind of dark (even though I may not be stressed and I'm eating enough). The Platinum Grape Cell line from Skinfood is advertised for both anti-aging and skin-brightening effects--sounds perfect for my needs!

Review: Skinfood Tomato Wrinkle Sun Cream SPF 36 PA++
After trying out the Skinfood Gold Kiwi No Sebum Sun Matte SPF35 PA+++ last weekend, which turned out to be a nightmare, I was a bit hesitant to try this. But I didn't have anything to do until the afternoon, so I thought I'd have adequate time to wash my face if anything goes wrong.

Review: HadaLabo Shirojyun Arbutin Whitening UV Milk SPF 20 (sunscreen)
Brief post before sleep. This is the last product I have from the HadaLabo Shirojyun Arbutin Whitening line. You can read my reviews about the Arbutin Whitening Essence, the Arbutin Whitening Mask and the Arbutin Whitening Lotion and Milk in their respective posts. I originally bought this because I thought whitening + sun block = the ultimate whitening skincare product!

Review: HadaLabo Shirojyun Arbutin Whitening Lotion (aka Toner) and Milk (aka moisturizer)
I've already reviewed two other products from the HadaLabo Shirojyun Arbutin Whitening line: the Arbutin Whitening Essence and the Arbutin Whitening Mask. Since I bought the whole line, I thought I might as well write a review on this as well to give some pointers for those are considering on purchasing this.
Review: Skinfood Gold Caviar Collagen Double Eye Serum
I admit, I am desperate for an eye cream. So desperate that I bought 3 different eye creams at the same time. I have another 3 coming my way. I've also recently started Skinfood Salmon Brightening Eye Cream for my dark circles. There were no samples of that for sale but I was so desperate I bought the whole jar of 30g. At first I was so scared that it wouldn't work out since I already have a whole 30g Laniege Water Bank Eye Gel sitting in my bathroom collecting dust. But fortunately it's been the most effective dark circle eye cream yet! But I digress..
The great thing about eye cream samples is that one sample will last you 4-5 days applied twice daily and even more if only used daily. So a few samples is enough to tell you whether or not this product is worth buying. I got 8 samples of this product because the eBay seller ended up giving me more than what was told on the website (which was a pleasant surprise)!
Review: Skinfood Salmon Brightening Eye Cream
Recently I've been worried about the fine lines under my eyes but dark circles have been my biggest concern for not just my eyes but my whole face ever since... high school. So far I've tried Shiseido's White Lucent, Origins GinZing and A Perfect World with White Tea, Clinique's All About Eyes and All About Eyes Rich, Jack Black Protein Booster Eye Rescue (yes, this brand is for men; now you know how desperate I am for an eye cream) and a bunch of other things I don't even remember. Shiseido's White Lucent and both Origins products were money down the drain. Clinique's All About Eyes Rich actually did show some improvement but I wasn't completely satisfied. After reading some reviews and since I'm still on my Skinfood craze I decided to buy this.

Review: TonyMoly Floria Whitening Sheet Mask
If anyone has been to the tourist spots in Korea, you will recall that there are girls outside cosmetic stores trying to lure you in with freebies. When I was passing TonyMoly's store, the girl outside was giving out whitening masks as freebie. Since whitening is one of my top concerns so I'm always interested in try out new products, I took the bait and went inside the store! I ended up buying three TonyMoly eye masks. I used one while I was in Korea and I haven't used the other two yet. Will get to trying and reviewing them another time.

Review: Skinfood Rice Mask Wash Off
I bought this along with my Skinfood Black Sugar Scrub Foam (one of my two favorite products from Skinfood currently) when I was in Korea (as you can see with the price tag on top). I read some reviews and it said this mask brightens the skin and contains some small beads for exfoliation so I thought, why not?
Review: Missha Super Aqua Cell Renew Snail Skin Treatment (toner)
I got two of these from my Missha purchases in Korea and another one from my recently purchases from Missha.ca summer sale. They were coupled with a sample of Missha Super Aqua Cell Renew Snail Essential Moisturizer which sadly I can't use because I'm allergic to it. I was actually a bit afraid of using this snail skin treatment in the beginning but fortunately I didn't get an allergic reaction.
Review: HadaLabo Shirojyun Arbutin Whitening Essence
This is not a new product that I've been using but a product that I go back to every so often because it gets me results. Whitening is one of my top concerns and I'm always curious to try different products, such as the Skinfood Omija Whitening Mask, Cream and Serum, but I find that I always come back to this one. I went to Asia for one month this summer. I get tanned very easily so as you can expect, I got a lot darker. I came back and I knew I needed to do some intensive whitening to get my skin a bit lighter (I don't think any product can actually revert my skin color all the back to what it was before summer).
